Remove hidden metadata

Strip GPS location, camera model, date and other hidden EXIF data — losslessly, without changing a single pixel. Nothing is uploaded.

Photos carry hidden EXIF data: GPS location, phone model, date, sometimes your name. Remove it before sharing — the image itself is copied byte for byte, so there’s zero quality loss.

Frequently asked questions

Does removing metadata reduce quality?

No. For JPG, PNG and WebP we rewrite the file without the metadata blocks — the image data itself is copied byte for byte.

Will my photo end up rotated?

No. If your photo needs the orientation flag to display upright, we keep just that one flag and nothing else.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Everything happens inside your browser on your own device. Your images are never uploaded, stored or seen by anyone — check your browser's Network tab, or turn on airplane mode after the page loads and see that it still works.

Is it really free?

Yes. No sign-up, no watermark, no daily limits and no paid “HD” downloads.

Do downloads still contain my location?

No. Every file you download is saved without hidden metadata like GPS location, camera serial number or owner name.
