JPG is photos you want to share, upload or print, but not always the right fit. Converting to PNG fixes that: pixel-perfect — no quality loss.
Drop one JPG or a hundred — they’re converted inside your browser, so even private photos are never uploaded anywhere.

Good to know before converting JPG to PNG
- PNG supports transparency, but converting won’t remove a background by itself — use Remove background for that.
- PNG is lossless, so the file will usually get bigger — it keeps every pixel of the JPG exactly, it can’t add back detail that was already lost.
- Hidden data like GPS location and camera details is left out of the converted file.
What is JPG?
JPG has been the default photo format since the 1990s. It shrinks photos by quietly throwing away detail your eye barely notices, which is why it opens on literally everything — but it can’t do transparency and it loses a little quality every time it’s re-saved.
What is PNG?
PNG keeps every pixel exactly as it is and supports transparent backgrounds. That makes it perfect for logos, screenshots and cut-outs — but photos saved as PNG are often 5–10× bigger than the same photo as JPG.
How to convert JPG to PNG
- Drop your JPG files (or paste with Ctrl+V).
- PNG is already selected — adjust quality if you like.
- Download one by one or all as a ZIP.
Frequently asked questions
Does converting JPG to PNG reduce quality?
No — PNG is lossless, so the result keeps every pixel of your JPG.
Can I convert many JPG files at once?
Yes — drop as many as you like and download them all as one ZIP.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Everything happens inside your browser on your own device. Your images are never uploaded, stored or seen by anyone — check your browser's Network tab, or turn on airplane mode after the page loads and see that it still works.
Is it really free?
Yes. No sign-up, no watermark, no daily limits and no paid “HD” downloads.
Do downloads still contain my location?
No. Every file you download is saved without hidden metadata like GPS location, camera serial number or owner name.
